Sunday, December 27, 1-2pm Colonial Church
Experience a colonial era worship service in the early Presbyterian manner, complete with lining the hymns, colonial collection plates and the traditional critique of the sermon. Pastor John Allen will portray the Reverend Elihu Spencer who served as pastor of the Church during the Revolutionary War. Dr. Spencer will preach a (shortened) sermon from the period. Sit next to Colonial Trentonians as they worship in the shadow of War.

Sunday, December 27, 5:45pm Save the 1807 Bell Dinner
Enjoy a candlelight dinner at the Sign of the Dove. First Presbyterian Church will recreate a colonial tavern in its Fellowship Hall to raise money to make its historic bell ring again. Seasonally appropriate tavern food will be served. Listen to and interact with friends and neighbors from 18th century. A $25 donation will go towards the refurbishing of the 1807 Hedderly Bell. Paid Reservations are required.
After the reenactment of the second battle and before dinner, the Church will be open. Come and see the fire tikis in the cemetery and have some hot cider!

Church and Burial Grounds Tours
Monday through Thursday, December 28 - 31, 8am to 4pm
Come to the historic First Presbyterian Church, whose congregation was founded in 1712 and has been attended by Presidents John Adams and James Monroe, as well as the Marquis de Lafayette and Daniel Webster. Pamphlets are available for self-guided tours of the artwork throughout the building and for the historic burial grounds. Re-enactors will also be available to answer any questions. There will also be displays of artifacts from the Church and from the City of Trenton. Comfort facilities are always available.

Lunch at the Sign of the Dove
Monday December 28, 11am to 1pm
Savor the tastes of the 18th century at the Sign of the Dove. First Presbyterian Church will continue to recreate the tavern experience in its Fellowship Hall. Soup, sandwich, pickles, cider and cookies - traditional tavern fare will be served. A $12 donation is requested.

Colonial Game Night
Wednesday, December 30, 6:30pm
Once again, First Presbyterian Church, will turn its Fellowship Hall into a Colonial Tavern. Experience one of the entertainments and past times of the 18th century - games and refreshments at the Tavern. Games will include draughts (checkers), chess, whist, darts, dominoes, Nine Man Morris, dice, cribbage and much more. This evening is designed for everyone. Adults may sample Madeira and munch on cookies throughout the evening. Children will feast on cider and fresh donut. A donation of $10 is requested. Reservations required.
